Is Today the First Day in the 2020 Presidential Race? Too Early!

I think so. I saw the start of campaign 2020.

A discussion leader on a cable news channel said that one of the people who might be running for the democratic presidential nomination said something. This discussion leader interpreted the statement as a comment on another person who may be running, or may not.

Off she went. One non-candidate talking about another non-candidate in a race that is 21 months away?

The discussion leader may know how to start a fight between two people in the public eye, who may not be running for president in late 2019.

Then, she turned to her panel. Will she…? Did he… ?

This event was not worthy of being called news.

Comment, maybe.

Entertainment, questionable.

Not news.

We don’t know if this was an event.

The discussion leader made a comment by one non-candidate relate to another non-candidate.

Somebody should familiarize this “news” person with why her thoughts have access to the airwaves, to cable news.

Professionals cover events that are important to us. They don’t pick up fallen fruit and throw it at an unsuspecting possible candidate.

She can be proud. She reported what one “candidate” may have said about another “candidate.” Both of whom may have been minding their own business.

Please wait. We don’t know what will happen next week, noway almost 2 years out.
